How We Use Affiliate Links

Upstate Concerts is free to read, and we intend to keep it that way. One of the ways we support this publication is through affiliate links.

When you click a ticket link on our site and make a purchase through one of our ticketing partners — including Ticketmaster, StubHub, TicketNetwork, Eventbrite, and others — we may earn a small commission. This comes at no additional cost to you. The ticket price you see is the same whether you click through our link or go directly to the seller.

What This Means for Our Coverage

Affiliate relationships do not influence which shows we cover, which venues we recommend, or how we write about any artist or event. Our editorial decisions are made independently. We cover shows because they matter to upstate New York music fans — not because a ticketing platform pays us more.

We will never recommend a ticket source we don’t trust. Every link on this site points to a legitimate, established ticketing platform. We do not link to unauthorized resellers or sources with a history of fraud.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

Articles that contain affiliate links include a disclosure notice near the top of the page. The standard disclosure reads:

Disclosure: Some links in this article are affiliate links. Upstate Concerts may earn a commission on ticket purchases at no additional cost to you.

Our Commitment

Transparency matters to us. If you have questions about how affiliate links work on this site, or if you ever feel our coverage has been influenced by a commercial relationship, we want to hear about it. Reach out anytime at info@upstateconcerts.com.
