You may opt in to SMS text alerts by providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our newsletter signup form. SMS consent is always optional and separate from email newsletter signup. The SMS consent checkbox is never pre-checked — you must actively choose to opt in.

What Information We Collect for SMS

When you opt in to text alerts, we collect your mobile phone number in addition to any other information you provide on the signup form (name, email). Your phone number is stored securely within our communications platform (GoHighLevel).

No Sharing of SMS Opt-In Data

Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent will never be shared with, sold to, rented to, or disclosed to any third party for marketing or any other purpose. This includes affiliates, advertisers, data brokers, and partner organizations. Your SMS opt-in information is used solely by Upstate Concerts to deliver the text alerts you requested.

Message Frequency and Content

Text alerts are sent approximately 2-4 times per month. Messages may include concert announcements, presale ticket alerts, and major event updates relevant to Upstate New York. Message frequency may vary based on the volume of events in your area.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to SMS messages you receive from us. Upstate Concerts is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

Affiliate Networks

When you click a ticket link on our site, you may be directed to a third-party ticketing platform. These platforms include Ticketmaster, TicketNetwork, StubHub, Eventbrite, SeatGeek, and Vivid Seats. Each platform has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data during the ticket purchase process. We do not receive your payment information from these platforms.
