Every Show Near You, In Your Pocket
Every concert in Upstate New York, sorted by how far it is from wherever you’re standing. The Upstate Concerts app lives on your phone’s home screen, knows your favorite venues, and gets fresher every half hour.
Built for Concert-Goers
Shows Near You
Share your location or pick your town, set a radius — 10 to 100 miles — and see every upcoming concert with the distance on each listing. Filter by tonight, this weekend, or the next 30 days.
A Feed Tuned to You
Pick the genres you love and the venues you haunt, and the app reorders announcements, features, festival coverage, and On This Day stories around your taste.
Every Venue, Mapped
All 127 rooms, sheds, and stages we cover — sorted nearest-first, with capacities, upcoming calendars, and a map view. Mark the ones you’ve been to.
Save & Share in Two Taps
Star a show to keep it on your list. Tap share to text a friend the artist, venue, date, and ticket link — straight from your phone’s share sheet.
Works Offline
Lose signal at the venue? The app keeps the last schedule it saw, so you can still check set times in a dead zone.
Always Current
Listings refresh every 30 minutes from the same desk that runs this site. Install once — it updates itself automatically.
No account. No app store. Free.
There’s nothing to sign up for and nothing to download from an app store. The app installs straight to your home screen, and your preferences — home town, genres, favorite venues, saved shows — live on your device and nowhere else. We never see them.

Getting the Most Out of It
- Set your home base. On the Shows tab, tap “Use my location” or pick your town. Everything sorts around it from then on.
- Pick your genres. On the You tab, tap the genres you care about — rock, jazz, country, all 21 of them are there.
- Favorite your venues. Search any venue on the You tab and tap the heart, or mark “Been here” while browsing. Announcements about your rooms rise to the top of your feed.
- Star shows you’re considering. They collect on the You tab so ticket day doesn’t sneak past you.
- Share the good ones. Every show, story, and venue has a share button. Concerts are better with company.
Good to Know
Does it cost anything?
No. Free, no ads inside the app, no account required.
Why isn’t it in the App Store?
It doesn’t need to be — it installs straight from the browser and updates itself automatically. You always have the latest version.
Where do ticket links go?
The same trusted ticketing links we publish on this site — Ticketmaster, TicketNetwork, or the venue’s own box office, depending on the show.
