Rockwell Hall at Buffalo State PAC is the kind of room that earns its reputation quietly — an 856-seat performing arts center at 1300 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village neighborhood, with enough going on around it that arriving early is its own reward. On Friday, May 1, Alan Doyle brings his Already Dancing Tour to that stage, and if you have spent any time with Doyle live, you already know this is one of those nights where the room feels exactly the right size.
Doyle spent nearly three decades building a catalog that earns every moment of a sold-out theater. He came up as a founding member of Great Big Sea, then launched a solo career with his Beautiful Beautiful Band that has carried him across North America and earned him 12 Juno Award nominations and an Order of Canada. The resume keeps expanding: four books, acting and producing credits, and a musical — Tell Tale Harbour — that he co-wrote for Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre. The man does not sit still.
The Already Dancing EP dropped February 20, 2026 — five originals, including lead single “Nancy” featuring The East Pointers, plus a cover of Spirit of the West’s 1986 classic “The Crawl.” Expect the Beautiful Beautiful Band to bring the same energy that has sustained a 42-date North American run. This is a U.S. date, so Bandits on the Run join as support.
Tickets are starting from $76. Visit the Buffalo State PAC venue page for directions and venue details, and browse the Buffalo / Western NY concert calendar for more upcoming shows in the region.
