Big Head Todd and the Monsters at the Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill in November 2026. These guys have been at it since 1987 and they still put on a show worth driving for. If you caught them in the ’90s when “Bittersweet” was on college radio, you know they’ve earned their place in the touring circuit. November in a good theater — that works.
About Big Head Todd and the Monsters
Big Head Todd and the Monsters formed in Boulder, Colorado in 1987 and built their audience the hard way — through relentless touring across the college circuit before releasing their major label debut Sister Sweetly in 1993. The album went gold on the strength of “Bittersweet” and a live reputation that had been years in the making. Todd Park Mohr’s guitar work is the anchor: blues-rooted, technically confident, and capable of sustaining extended improvisation without losing the thread. They’ve continued releasing records and touring consistently for three decades, remaining one of the most reliable live acts from that era.
