Clutch at Kodak Center

By Upstate Concerts Staff · April 12, 2026

Few bands in the hard rock universe have earned the kind of cult loyalty that Maryland’s Clutch commands. For over three decades, frontman Neil Fallon and company have carved out a lane entirely their own — equal parts stoner groove, blues swagger, and lyrical weirdness that rewards repeated listens. Their Suffer No Evil Tour rolls into Rochester’s Kodak Center on April 12, and if past shows are any indication, Finger Lakes rock fans are in for a masterclass in riff-driven catharsis.

Opening the night is Corrosion of Conformity, a band whose own legacy runs deep through the Southern metal and crossover punk underground. With Pepper Keenan back at the helm, COC has been delivering sets that pull from every era of their storied catalog. The pairing with Clutch is a no-brainer — two bands that have never chased trends and have only gotten heavier and more confident with age.

This is the kind of double bill that doesn’t come through Upstate New York every day. If you like your rock unvarnished, loud, and played by musicians who’ve put in the miles, the Kodak Center is where you need to be on April 12.
