Dave Matthews Band Night 1 at SPAC on July 17, 2026 — 7:30 PM. DMB and SPAC is one of those pairings that has been happening for so long it feels like a natural law. They’ve been playing this amphitheater for decades and they know the room; the room knows them. Night 1 of two nights typically sets the arc. If you have a preference, Night 1 is where you find out what they’re working with this run.
About Dave Matthews Band
Dave Matthews Band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991 and became one of the defining live acts of the 1990s through a combination of extraordinary musicianship — Boyd Tinsley’s violin, LeRoi Moore’s saxophone, Carter Beauford’s drumming, Stefan Lessard’s bass — and a fanbase that tracked setlists and followed the band from city to city. Their studio records sold in the tens of millions; their live recordings are a parallel catalog. The band’s sound has evolved since Moore’s passing in 2008, but they’ve continued touring with the same commitment to improvisation and to the community that’s built around them. SPAC is home turf.
