If you have been waiting for a chance to actually meet Escape the Fate, Friday, May 1 at Empire Live in Albany is your shot. The Las Vegas post-hardcore band is closing out Lacuna Coil’s Sleepless Empire U.S. tour on May 1 — the final night of a coast-to-coast run that kicked off in late March — and a VIP package puts you in the room with them before the show even starts.
The package runs 5:00–6:00 PM and includes a VIP laminate, a meet and greet photo opportunity with Escape the Fate, and a signed poster. Critical logistics note: this package does not include a general admission ticket. You need to purchase GA separately for the 7:00 PM show. Two separate transactions. Plan for both before you head to Albany.
About Escape the Fate
Nearly 20 years into their run, Escape the Fate have earned their standing in post-hardcore. Formed in Las Vegas in 2005, they have pushed through lineup changes that would have sidelined most acts — drummer Robert Ortiz is the sole original member, and frontman Craig Mabbitt has led the band since 2008 through eight studio albums. Their most recent LP, Out of the Shadows, is what Mabbitt and Ortiz call their most honest record — shaped by pandemic-era personal reinvention and featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills on the closing track “Cheers to Goodbye.” They have been on the road internationally in 2026 across six countries. They are not slowing down.
About Empire Live
Empire Live sits at 93 N. Pearl Street in downtown Albany — a 1,000-capacity standing room venue and one of the stronger mid-size rooms in the Capital District. The show is all ages.
Tickets & Pricing
The VIP upgrade is available through the ticket link below — but it does not cover your way into the 7:00 PM show. GA tickets must be purchased separately. This is the closing night of a 39-date U.S. tour that ran from New York to Los Angeles and back. If Albany is within your range, the send-off show is the one to catch.
