The Happy Together Tour returns to the Palace Theatre in Albany on June 17, 2026, and the 2026 lineup is stacked with names that defined AM radio in the 1960s and ’70s. The Association. The Troggs. Gary Puckett. Jason Scheff of Chicago. Ron Dante of The Archies. The Fortunes. The Vogues. The Cowsills. Eight acts, one stage, and more combined chart-toppers than you can count on both hands.

This tour has been running for years because the formula works: original artists performing their original hits, no backing tracks, no nostalgia-act apologies. These are the songs that soundtracked an era — “Cherish,” “Wild Thing,” “Young Girl,” “Sugar Sugar” — performed by the people who made them famous. There is no irony in this room. Just joy.

About the Lineup

The 2026 edition leans hard into the breadth of the ’60s. The Association brings the sunshine-pop harmonies. The Troggs bring the garage-rock grit. Gary Puckett brings the baritone. Jason Scheff, who anchored Chicago’s bass and vocal duties for decades, carries that band’s legacy. Ron Dante — the voice behind “Sugar Sugar” and a prolific producer in his own right — rounds out a bill that covers pop, rock, soul, and everything in between. Each act gets a short, focused set built around the hits. The pacing is brisk, the energy is high, and the crowd knows every word.

Venue Info

The Palace Theatre on Clinton Avenue in downtown Albany is a natural fit for this tour. The restored 1931 movie palace seats about 2,800, every one of them with good sight lines to the stage. The ornate interior — gold leaf, painted ceilings, the works — adds a grandeur that suits a night of classic hits. This is the kind of room where the audience dresses up a little and stays in their seats, and there is nothing wrong with that.
