John Legend brings An Evening of Songs & Stories to the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse on April 28, following his Shea’s date earlier in the week. The intimate format — Legend at the piano, stories woven between the songs — gives Central New York audiences a chance to experience one of R&B’s most accomplished artists in a setting that strips away the production and leaves the music exposed.
The Landmark Theatre, a 1928 movie palace with nearly 3,000 seats and one of the most beautiful interiors in Central New York, is a fitting stage for this kind of performance. Legend’s voice and the Landmark’s acoustics are going to create something special.
