Mo Lowda & The Humble at Buffalo Iron Works on May 1 is the kind of show where the band name tells you almost nothing and the music tells you everything. The Philadelphia trio plays a blend of indie rock, psychedelia, and jam-influenced grooves that has been building a grassroots following through relentless touring and the kind of live performances that convert casual attendees into devoted fans.
Iron Works in Western New York is a good room for this. The venue’s intimate scale puts Mo Lowda’s guitar tones and vocal harmonies front and center, and the Cobblestone District location makes for a complete Friday night out in Buffalo.
