Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at Town Ballroom in Buffalo in April 2026 — and they’re playing two nights (Night 2 is also on the calendar). If you’ve seen PPPP before, you know exactly what to expect: a dance party disguised as a jam band concert, with a crowd that comes fully committed. If you haven’t, Town Ballroom is the ideal room for a first experience.
About Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong formed at the University of Maryland in 2009 and built their audience through the same route as their jam band ancestors — relentless touring, devoted community, and a live show that keeps people coming back. Their sound blends funk, psychedelic rock, and electronic elements into something that’s primarily designed to make people move. Greg Ormont’s vocals and Jeremy Schon’s guitar work are the anchors; the rhythm section drives the whole thing with a precision that keeps even extended improvisational sections locked in. Two nights in Buffalo is a good sign for how their following has grown.
