Sal Vulcano is best known as one of the four founding members of The Tenderloins, the comedy troupe behind truTV’s long-running “Impractical Jokers.” But his standup career operates separately from the hidden-camera format — this is Sal on a stage, with a microphone, doing the work that most comedians spend their whole careers building toward.
About the Show
Vulcano’s standup draws from the same self-deprecating, New York-rooted energy that drives the Jokers brand, but in a live context it has room to go further. Albany audiences who know him from television will find the standup show a different, more personal version of the comedian. The Egg’s intimate hall puts the room close enough to the stage that nothing gets lost.
About The Egg
The Egg is one of Albany’s signature performing arts venues, sitting inside the Empire State Plaza complex with parking readily available in the Plaza garage. The main hall seats just under 1,000 — a good size for a comedian who can work the room.
