The Highwaymen — the country supergroup of Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson — represent a rare moment when four of the genre’s biggest names decided that performing together was better than performing alone. The Highwaymen Live brings a tribute to that legacy to Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, New York on October 24, 2026. Showtime is 8:00 PM.
The original Highwaymen released three studio albums between 1985 and 1995, with their debut single “Highwayman” reaching number one on the country charts. Their appeal was simple: each of the four members brought a mountain of solo work to the collective, and the result was a catalog that could draw from Nelson’s outlaw classics, Cash’s American songbook recordings, Jennings’s swaggering honky-tonk, and Kristofferson’s literary, hard-lived country. A tribute to that material has a deep well to draw from.
Seneca Niagara’s showroom is a compact, comfortable venue for a show like this — good acoustics, decent sightlines, and a relaxed atmosphere that pairs well with the classic country catalog. Note: The Highwaymen Live also performs at Seneca Niagara on October 23 — check both dates for availability.
