Travis Tritt at Penn’s Peak | September 17, 2026

By Nate Calloway · April 7, 2026

Travis Tritt never really needed to be saved. Through the shifts in Nashville’s tastes — the slick ’90s crossover era, the bro-country boom, the streaming age — he just kept being Travis Tritt: rough-edged, road-worn, and in possession of one of the most naturally compelling voices country music has produced.

His catalog holds up in the way that catalog you grew up with tends to hold up when the person singing it still means it. “Country Club,” “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares),” “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive” — these aren’t just country radio staples, they’re songs with genuine personality behind them. Live, Tritt has always delivered: this isn’t a man who phones it in.

Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe is the right venue for a night like this. The Pocono-area room pulls a country-ready crowd, handles classic-format touring acts well, and sits in a part of Pennsylvania that makes an easy day trip from the Hudson Valley, Capital Region, or Western New Jersey. Worth the drive if you’re anywhere in range.

Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster. Showtime is 8:00 PM; get there early enough to settle in and find your spot before the first song.
