There are voices that carry weight. Not just volume or range, but the kind of hard-earned gravity that only comes from decades of living through the songs you sing. Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge are bringing exactly that to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Saturday, June 28 at 7:00 PM. Two women who’ve walked through fire, publicly and privately, sharing one stage on the original Woodstock site. The evening practically writes itself.

About Wynonna Judd & Melissa Etheridge

Wynonna Judd has been singing like her life depends on it since the mid-1980s. Fourteen No. 1 hits with The Judds alongside her mother Naomi. Six more as a solo artist. Her voice is one of country music’s genuine forces of nature — deep, raw, capable of shaking the walls without ever losing the tenderness underneath. Since Naomi’s passing in 2022, Wynonna has carried The Judds’ legacy forward with a grace and ferocity that’s only deepened her connection with audiences.

Melissa Etheridge needs no introduction to anyone who’s turned on a radio in the last thirty years. “Come to My Window,” “I’m the Only One,” “Like the Way I Do” — she built a career on songs that burn with an intensity most performers only dream about. Her battle with breast cancer and her advocacy work since have made her a figure who transcends the stage. She’s a survivor in the truest sense, and it comes through in every note.

Together, these two are a co-headlining pair that makes real sense. Both are storytellers. Both are fighters. Both have the kind of presence that fills a room before the first chord lands.

Venue Info

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts sits on the original 1969 Woodstock festival grounds in Sullivan County. There’s an energy to this place that goes beyond what any architect could design — it’s baked into the hillside, the tree line, the way the sound carries across the lawn on a summer evening. The pavilion holds roughly 16,000, and the museum on the grounds is worth arriving early for. A late-June evening here with two of the most powerful voices in American music is about as good as a Saturday night gets in the Hudson Valley.
