Your Guide to Live Music in Upstate New York

Western New York Concerts & Live Music

Buffalo’s arena rock, Artpark’s outdoor magic, and Darien Lake under the stars

The Sound of Western New York

Western New York is arena country. KeyBank Center anchors downtown Buffalo with the biggest touring acts in the Northeast, from stadium rock to hip-hop heavyweights. But the region’s real magic happens outdoors — at Artpark’s clifftop amphitheater overlooking the Niagara Gorge and Darien Lake’s sprawling amphitheater south of the city.

Buffalo’s music culture runs deep. From the Goo Goo Dolls to Ani DiFranco, the city has always punched above its weight. Today, that energy fuels a thriving scene across intimate clubs on Elmwood Avenue, historic theaters like Shea’s, and the summer concert calendar that draws fans from across the border and beyond.

Whether you’re catching a sold-out show at KeyBank, a roots music festival at Artpark, or a country headliner at Darien Lake — Western NY delivers the full concert experience.
