Lamb of God’s Into Oblivion Tour hits Buffalo RiverWorks on April 21, and the Western New York venue better be structurally reinforced for this one. LOG has been one of the most ferocious live metal bands on the planet for over two decades — the kind of band where the pit opens during the intro and does not close until the house lights come up. Randy Blythe commands a stage the way a general commands a battlefield, and the riffwork is tight enough to qualify as precision engineering.
RiverWorks has the capacity and the industrial atmosphere for a show this heavy. Expect a crowd that knows every breakdown, a floor that gets dangerous by the third song, and a volume level that you will feel in your teeth.
