When the sun goes down over Lake George and the bass starts hitting, FETE ADK transforms the Fort William Henry Conference Center into something the Adirondacks have never seen before: a full-scale, multi-stage electronic dance music festival with the mountains as a backdrop and the village nightlife as an extension of the dance floor. This is not your typical festival-in-a-field. FETE ADK — formerly known as the Lake George DJ Takeover — has evolved rapidly since its 2023 debut, and the 2026 edition represents its most ambitious production yet.

Scheduled for May 22 through 24, FETE ADK brings headliners Jes, Wave Wave, Osheen, and Holly T to Lake George alongside dozens of regional and national DJs performing across multiple themed stages. The festival is US Veteran-owned and operated, built by a collective of more than a dozen DJs and creators who saw a gap in the Upstate New York festival landscape and decided to fill it with bass, lights, and relentless energy.

The rebranding from the Lake George DJ Takeover to FETE ADK signals a deliberate step up in scope and identity. Where the earlier editions were regional DJ gatherings with strong grassroots energy, the 2026 festival is a three-day production with national headliners, professional-grade staging, and a format that borrows from the European club-festival model. Lake George has its EDM weekend now, and it is growing fast.

The Music

FETE ADK’s lineup philosophy centers on live-mixing DJs — no pre-recorded sets, no backing tracks, just artists working the decks in real time across a range of electronic subgenres. The 2026 edition features Jes, a trance icon whose career spans two decades of dance music at the highest level, alongside Wave Wave, Osheen, and Holly T. The supporting roster includes DJ Jaz, DJ NPG, Becka, Shane Stiel, Just Chris (named Northeast DJ of the Year), and DJ Skribble, among others. The breadth of the bill means you will hear everything from classic house and trance to modern bass music and techno over the course of three days.

The multi-stage layout is designed to create distinct sonic environments. Friday night leans into mainstream retro and funky grooves — an accessible entry point for the weekend. Saturday shifts to a more eclectic, modern sound across the main stage, the underground Up&Under stage, and themed tents. An outdoor patio stage runs free, open-format sets throughout both days, giving attendees a pressure-release valve between the heavier indoor stages. The diversity of programming means you can follow your ears from room to room and never hear the same vibe twice.

Past editions have built the festival’s reputation on the strength of its regional talent pipeline. The 2025 lineup at the Lake George Festival Commons featured 60-plus DJs from New York, New England, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Canada, with headliners including The Disco Fries, Sydney Blu, Joeski, Gina Turner, and Agent Orange DJ. That depth of regional talent, mixed with nationally recognized headliners, gives FETE ADK a texture that pure mega-festival bookings cannot match.

Nightly afterparties at DJs Nite Club on Canada Street extend the music past the main event. The Sunday block party at the same venue runs from 1 PM to 2 AM, closing out the weekend with one final marathon session. These afterparties are included in the festival experience and have become a signature element — the transition from festival grounds to village nightlife feels seamless, not tacked on.

The Experience

The move to the Fort William Henry Conference Center as the primary 2026 venue is a significant upgrade. Indoor stages mean controlled acoustics, professional lighting rigs, and weather-proof reliability — critical infrastructure for a genre that demands serious production values. The immersive visual production includes video walls, synchronized lighting, and stage design that transforms the conference center spaces into proper club environments. When you step inside from the Adirondack evening air, the contrast is jarring in the best way.

But FETE ADK is not entirely an indoor affair. The outdoor patio area offers free-access sets throughout the day, letting you catch the Lake George breeze between heavier sessions inside. The festival grounds are entirely walkable, and the Fort William Henry location puts you steps from Canada Street — Lake George Village’s main drag of restaurants, bars, and shops. That walkability is a genuine advantage over isolated festival sites. You can grab dinner at a village restaurant, duck back into the festival for a headlining set, and hit the afterparty without ever needing a car.

Food trucks and bars are stationed throughout the venue, with 21-plus ID checks for alcohol. The festival is all-ages for the main stages, making it accessible to younger electronic music fans while maintaining the full festival bar experience for adults. Lawn games, photo opportunities, and vendor booths fill the spaces between stages, and the PLUR ethos — Peace, Love, Unity, Respect — is actively promoted by organizers as the cultural foundation of the event.

Group discounts for parties of 10 or more make FETE ADK a natural choice for crew trips, and any ticket grants access to all stages across the weekend. Nearby camping is available for those who want the full festival-weekend experience, though many attendees take advantage of Lake George Village’s extensive lodging options — motels, hotels, and vacation rentals are all within walking distance of the venue.

Getting There and Know Before You Go

Fort William Henry Conference Center is at 48 Canada Street in Lake George Village, accessible from I-87 (the Northway) via Exit 21. DJs Nite Club, where afterparties and the Sunday block party take place, is at 89 Canada Street — a short walk from the main venue. Both are in the heart of the village, so parking in any municipal or private lot will get you within easy walking distance.

The Memorial Day weekend timing is strategic. Lake George is just waking up for summer by late May, which means lodging availability is better and rates are lower than they will be by July. Book early anyway — the festival’s growth trajectory suggests rooms will get harder to find as word spreads. The weather in late May can range from warm and sunny to cool and rainy, but the indoor venue means the music is never at the mercy of the forecast.

Dress for the dance floor. Comfortable shoes are essential — you will be on your feet for hours. Layers work well given the indoor-outdoor flow of the event. Earplugs are recommended for the underground stages where the sound pressure gets serious. Stay hydrated. The festival runs late, so pace yourself across the three days.

Why This Festival Matters

Electronic dance music has been underrepresented in the Upstate New York festival scene for years. While jam bands, Americana, and indie rock have well-established homes across the region, the EDM community has lacked a dedicated multi-day event with real production values and credible bookings. FETE ADK fills that gap with intention and growing ambition. In just a few editions, it has evolved from a regional DJ gathering into a three-day, multi-stage production that draws talent from across the country. The Lake George location gives it a built-in vacation appeal that most EDM festivals lack, and the indoor-outdoor hybrid format is smart infrastructure for a genre that lives and dies on production quality. For the electronic music community in the Northeast, FETE ADK is quickly becoming the Memorial Day weekend destination.
