Brian Wilson brought the Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary farewell tour to the Palace Theatre, performing a full front-to-back rendition of Pet Sounds in the second set, with a first set of Beach Boys hits. Former Beach Boys member Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin joined as guests. Wilson closed solo on piano with “Love & Mercy.” One of the greatest albums ever made, performed in its entirety by its creator, in one of Albany’s finest rooms.
