Santana at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts | July 4, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · May 6, 2026

Few outdoor venues in the Northeast carry the weight of history that Bethel Woods Center for the Arts does, and that history is relevant here in a way that goes beyond marketing copy. Carlos Santana performed at the original 1969 Woodstock festival — on that same ground in Bethel — and the performance has never stopped being part of the conversation about what live music can be. His return to Bethel Woods on July 4, 2026, as part of the Oneness Tour with The Doobie Brothers, is not a routine summer booking.

About Santana

Grammy award-winning and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Santana has spent more than fifty years crafting a sound that fuses Afro-Latin rhythms with blues and rock in ways that have generated no serious imitators. The 1999 album Supernatural represents his commercial apex — nine Grammy Awards in a single night, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year — but the live show has always been the more compelling argument. Santana has accumulated 10 Grammy Awards and 3 Latin Grammy Awards over a career that spans from the breakthrough of Abraxas forward across five decades of touring.

About The Doobie Brothers

The Doobie Brothers arrive on this bill as co-headliners. The current lineup — Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, John McFee, and Michael McDonald — represents a band that has sold more than 48 million albums and built a catalog with genuine staying power, from “Listen to the Music” to “Black Water.” Their new album Walk This Road will be part of the evening’s set, which gives this run more energy than a standard nostalgia tour. This is the second co-headlining collaboration between these two acts; the first was the 2019 Supernatural Now tour, built around the 20th anniversary of Santana’s Supernatural.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is an outdoor amphitheater in the Hudson Valley, built on the grounds of the original Woodstock festival. For a July 4 concert featuring one of Woodstock’s most celebrated performers, the date and location arrive pre-loaded with meaning that no standard arena booking can replicate. The Bethel stop closes a three-date New York run: July 1 at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, July 2 at Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, and July 4 at Bethel Woods. Showtime is 7:00 PM.
