Eggy makes the kind of music that splits the jam-band crowd: a Connecticut quartet that writes actual songs first, then stretches them into something that takes the long way home. They open The Final Tour (of 2026) at Buffalo Iron Works on Thursday, October 15, the first stop on a 16-date run that wraps in Toronto in December.
About the Show
Jake Brownstein (guitar, vocals), Dani Battat (keys, vocals), Mike Goodman (bass, vocals), and Alex Bailey (drums, vocals) started as a high school aspiration and became an active touring ensemble in 2016, taking the name Eggy as a tribute to a close friend. A decade of road work has since taken them across more than 40 states and onto festival stages at Austin City Limits, Electric Forest, and Suwannee Hulaween.
The record driving this run is Waiting Game, their second full-length studio album, released September 6, 2024 and co-produced with James Petralli of White Denim. It pushed the band into a bigger conversation: expanded touring, festival appearances, and a growing audience that could recognize Eggy’s name on a lineup without needing an explanation. The album leans into songwriting craft while keeping room for the improvisational stretch — lyricist Patrick Amarante, credited as a fifth member on the sessions, contributed to what makes it feel like more than a standard jam band document. Back-to-back sold-out shows in Denver in 2025, celebrating “The Ballad of Blucifer,” gave a clear sign of where the momentum was heading.
From Buffalo, the tour moves through Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, and Madison before a Hulaween 2026 appearance in Florida and a Northeast leg that includes two-night stands at Ardmore Music Hall, Bowery Ballroom, and The Atlantis in Washington, D.C. Buffalo is where it all starts.
Venue & Logistics
Buffalo Iron Works, at 49 Illinois Street in western New York, is a 500-capacity club. For a band that has played festival stages at Electric Forest and Austin City Limits, a room this size offers something different: every member of the quartet close enough that you can follow a bass line or a keyboard run as easily as the guitar. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; the show starts at 8:00 p.m. The event is 18+.
