If you grew up with “Happy Together” on the radio, here is your Wednesday night in late July sorted: nine acts, 61 Billboard Top 40 hits, and a classic-era revue that has been running for 17 years because it keeps delivering. The Happy Together Tour rolls into Binghamton on Wednesday, July 29 at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena — doors at 6:30 PM, show at 7:30 PM.
About the Tour
This is the 17th annual edition of what’s been called “the gold standard of classic oldies revues,” and this year’s lineup is the deepest it’s been in a while. The Turtles headline — their 1967 chart-topper “Happy Together” is the whole reason this tour has a name — and they’re joined by eight more acts, each bringing their own catalog of chart-proven hits.
The Association return this year after sitting out the 2025 edition, bringing “Cherish,” “Windy,” and “Never My Love.” The Troggs make their Happy Together Tour debut — “Wild Thing” alone is worth the price of admission. Jason Scheff, the voice of Chicago from 1985 through 2016, performs that band’s early singles. Gary Puckett & The Union Gap bring “Young Girl” and “Lady Willpower.” The Fortunes, The Vogues, The Cowsills, and Ron Dante — the voice of The Archies — round out a bill that covers a remarkable stretch of the ’60s and ’70s in one sitting.
Across all nine acts, that’s 61 Billboard Top 40 hits. You are not going to run short of songs you know every word to.
About the Venue
Visions Veterans Memorial Arena sits at 1 Stuart Street in downtown Binghamton — a multi-purpose arena completed in 1973 that holds up to 7,200 and is the current home of the Binghamton Black Bears hockey club. It’s a proven room for this kind of touring show, and the Southern Tier doesn’t get a bill this stacked very often.
