Since 2012, when Based on a T.R.U. Story debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and turned 2 Chainz from a well-regarded feature rapper into a headliner with his own floor to stand on, he has remained one of the more durable acts in Southern trap — a status his 2026 touring schedule confirms. On Oct. 31, that schedule closes at The Vine Showroom at del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, a 1,400-capacity room in the Finger Lakes, for an ages-21-and-over Halloween night show.
About the Show
Born Tauheed Epps in College Park, Georgia, 2 Chainz spent time at Alabama State University on a basketball scholarship before returning to co-found Playaz Circle, the duo that signed to Ludacris’s Disturbing tha Peace label and put “Duffle Bag Boy” (featuring Lil Wayne) on the radio in 2007. The rebrand from Tity Boi to 2 Chainz came around 2011, and 2012 made the case for why it mattered: he appeared on Kanye West’s “Mercy” and Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap,” then released Based on a T.R.U. Story, which produced three platinum singles: “No Lie” with Drake, “Birthday Song” with Kanye West, and “I’m Different.” He earned a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for his contribution to Chance the Rapper’s “No Problem.” Four more albums followed: B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time (2013), Pretty Girls Like Trap Music (2017), Rap or Go to the League (2019), Dope Don’t Sell Itself (2022). In 2026, he has maintained a full U.S. touring schedule, with 19 upcoming dates as of August, while also appearing as a special guest on the “20 Years of Carter Classics” tour with Lil Wayne. His current creative project is Red Clay, a short film he co-wrote and executive-produced with actor Omar Epps that follows a teenager through a difficult upbringing in 2003 Atlanta; it premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival in May 2025, with a wider release described as coming soon. The del Lago date is a standalone engagement, with no named tour or support act listed.
