Dokken at del Lago Resort & Casino | October 10, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · June 13, 2026

There is something deliberately loaded about the pairing of Dokken and Lynch Mob on the same bill. George Lynch — the guitarist whose work across five Dokken studio albums between 1983 and 1988 defined some of that era’s most distinctive hard rock — departed the band under circumstances neither party has spent much time romanticizing. He founded Lynch Mob in 1989 and took former Dokken drummer Mick Brown with him. The two projects have orbited each other ever since. Sharing a stage in 2026, even as parallel headliners, carries a weight that bare billing does not convey.

The del Lago date closes a two-night Northeast run that opens the prior evening at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. It is the kind of routing that makes sense for acts at this level: the right room size, the right region, casino economics that reduce break-even pressure.

About Dokken

Don Dokken formed the band bearing his name in Los Angeles in 1978, and he remains its sole original member. The classic four-piece — Dokken on vocals, Lynch on guitar, Jeff Pilson on bass, Mick Brown on drums — produced five studio albums across the decade, among them Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key, and Back for the Attack. The band earned a Grammy nomination in 1989, the same year they first dissolved. Their most enduring chart entry may be “Dream Warriors,” recorded for the A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 soundtrack in 1987, which reached No. 22 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Current guitarist Jon Levin has held the role since 2003.

About Lynch Mob

Lynch Mob has been George Lynch’s primary vehicle since its founding in 1989, with a catalog stretching from the debut Wicked Sensation through Babylon, released in 2023. Lynch remains the only constant; the current lineup pairs him with Jaron Gulino on vocals, Gabriel Colon on bass, and Jimmy D’Anda on drums. For audiences at del Lago, both chapters of this particular story will be in the same room on the same night.

The Vine Theater at del Lago Resort & Casino

The Vine Theater is a mid-sized seated room within the del Lago Resort & Casino complex in Waterloo — 2,400 capacity, with acoustics that hold up better than the surroundings might suggest. It sits in the heart of the Finger Lakes region, a reasonable draw from Rochester, Syracuse, and points between. The casino property designation means ages 21 and over, no exceptions.
