Rochester gets the last night. When Goose mapped out their fall 2026 headline run — eight markets, three weeks, all of it built around their new album BIG MODERN! — they put Blue Cross Arena at the end of the line. Saturday, November 21st is the tour closer, and that means the Rochester / Finger Lakes crowd gets the final show of the BIG TOUR! Show time is 7:30 PM.
About Goose
If you have been hearing about Goose and have not made the trip yet, consider this your opening. The Connecticut four-piece — Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), and Cotter Ellis (drums) — have been one of the jam and indie groove world’s most compelling live draws since they started filling rooms in 2014. Last May they sold out a two-night run at Melkweg in Amsterdam. This summer they are playing Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks. The trajectory is not subtle.
The fall run supports BIG MODERN!, their sixth studio album, dropping June 12 via No Coincidence Records. The 15-track collection has put two singles into live rotation — “Torero” and “Good2B” — with both showing up in sets all year. Rolling Stone called “Good2B” “groovy and discombobulated… a vintage Goose jam.” Mitarotonda describes the album as a dispatch from overstimulated, hyperconnected modern life. By November, this material will have been through a full summer and fall of road-testing. Expect a band that knows it cold.
The billing is “An Evening With Goose” — headliner-only, no support act. The whole night belongs to them.
The Venue
Blue Cross Arena is at 1 War Memorial Square in downtown Rochester — a 13,000-capacity arena and the largest room on Goose’s entire fall tour. If you are making the drive from Syracuse, Buffalo, or anywhere in the Finger Lakes region, this is a full arena show in the heart of the city. Build extra time into your evening.
