Lil Baby, born Dominique Armani Jones in Atlanta and signed to Quality Control Music and Motown Records, is a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum rapper who has built one of the more consistent discographies in contemporary hip-hop. Harder Than Ever arrived in 2018 with the Drake-featured “Yes Indeed.” My Turn (2020) went quadruple platinum. The Voice of the Heroes, his 2021 collaboration with Lil Durk, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. It’s Only Me (2022) repeated the feat. WHAM, out January 3, 2025, is his first full-length since then: 15 tracks featuring Young Thug, Future, Travis Scott, GloRilla, 21 Savage, and Rod Wave. The promotional campaign involved billboards in major U.S. cities carrying the phrase “Whatever Wham Say Goes.” Not exactly understated. The Upstate Fest billing positions this as a curated showcase rather than a standard arena stop, and the support lineup backs that claim up.
The support roster is genuinely deep. Fetty Wap — Grammy-nominated, double diamond-selling, the rapper whose “Trap Queen” and “679” reshaped mainstream hip-hop in the mid-2010s by threading melody into rap in a way that felt genuinely new — is on his 2026 Nostalgia Tour, which he described as a celebration of “all the old and some of the new music, with a lotta surprises on the way.” It marks his first U.S. tour run since January 2026. Key Glock and Boosie round out the established talent on the bill. KenTheMan, who performed at BET Awards Weekend 2026 earlier this year, is the rising voice on the lineup, and at a show like this, that slot is often where people come back having discovered someone new.
