The Black Keys have been chasing their own origin story long enough that it becomes meaningful when one of them says they caught it. Dan Auerbach describes Peaches!, the duo’s 14th studio album, as their “most natural record” since their 2002 debut — the first the Ohio pair has mixed entirely themselves since 2006’s Magic Potion, recorded live in one room with the full band and minimal overdubs. The lead single, “You Got to Lose,” signals, by Auerbach’s own characterization, a return to the primal, garage-blues energy that first separated the Keys from their contemporaries before multiple Grammy Awards and years of arena touring changed the scope of what a Black Keys release was expected to be. The Peaches ‘N Kream World Tour ’26 — 50-plus dates across North America and Europe — is how they’re making that case in front of an audience.
About the Show
The tour launched April 24 in Fort Lauderdale and runs through October 18 in Windsor, Ontario, with the Laval date arriving near the end of the Canadian leg. The itinerary has included multi-night stands in Atlanta, Brooklyn, and Nashville; the Place Bell stop is a single evening near the close of the run. Peaches! — the 14th record — was released May 1 via Easy Eye Sound/Warner Records, recorded with the full band live in one room and mixed entirely by Auerbach and Patrick Carney themselves. The band has framed this as a deliberate step back from the layered production of their later work.
Support comes from Jeremie Albino, a Toronto-born roots singer-songwriter — son of a Filipino father and a Québécois mother, raised in the city’s Scarborough district — who spent a decade farming in Prince Edward County before signing with Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound imprint in 2024. His most recent album, Our Time in the Sun, was recorded at the label’s Nashville studio with handpicked session players. His sound has been described as “gritty storytelling grafted onto roots rhythms and hooky melodies,” drawing from Americana, vintage blues, and roots rock. All support acts on the Peaches ‘N Kream tour are from the Easy Eye Sound roster — a curatorial choice that keeps the aesthetic coherent across the bill.
Venue & Logistics
Place Bell is a 10,172-seat arena in Laval, Quebec, and part of the north-country coverage area — at that capacity, one of the larger rooms on a tour that has otherwise leaned toward theaters and mid-size amphitheaters. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the show begins at 7:30. The event is all-ages.
