Third Eye Blind formed in San Francisco in 1993 and spent four years building toward the six-times-platinum debut that put “Semi-Charmed Life,” “Jumper,” and “How’s It Going to Be” into heavy rotation by 1997; the self-titled first album peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for over a year. The band has sold more than 12 million records worldwide. In the decades since, they released records that Alternative radio kept picking up: Blue, Out of the Vein, Ursa Major (which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3 in 2009), Dopamine (Top 20, 2015). Then came 2019’s Screamer, recorded with Billy Corgan, and 2021’s Our Bande Apart, featuring Bethany Consentino of Best Coast. An October 30 booking at Basilica Hudson, a 1,000-capacity arts and event space in Hudson, NY, is a deliberately scaled-down room for a band that’s been doing this for more than three decades without running short of reasons.

The Hudson date is the middle of a three-night Halloween run: Oct. 29 at State Theatre in Portland, ME; Oct. 30 at Basilica Hudson; Oct. 31 at The Fillmore Philadelphia, where the show is titled “All Aboard the Ghost Ship” — their second straight Halloween at that venue. No supporting act is listed for the Basilica Hudson date, and no umbrella tour name covers this run. Stephan Jenkins leads the current lineup alongside drummer Brad Hargreaves, guitarist Kryz Reid, and bassist Alex LeCavalier. With ten studio recordings across nearly three decades, the band covers more sonic ground than the ’90s alt-rock reputation typically suggests. Third Eye Blind has operated independently for years and, by the language in their own event materials, maintains “a fan base who is larger, younger and more dedicated than ever.” Their 2026 touring calendar runs to 26 shows across the United States and Canada, mixing festival bookings and club dates from both coasts through the fall.

At 1,000 capacity, it’s a deliberately smaller room than most of Third Eye Blind’s 2026 touring stops — the kind of booking where a back catalog this deep is worth hearing at close range.
