The Black Keys at Turning Stone Event Center | October 10, 2026

Two years ago, The Black Keys were having a bad year. The International Players Tour collapsed under poor ticket sales in 2024, and the band parted ways with their management team in the immediate aftermath — the kind of industry stumble that gets filed under cautionary tales and rarely revisited in polite conversation. What it was not, apparently, was the end of the story.

The Akron, Ohio duo — guitarist and vocalist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney — are back this fall with considerably more momentum than the 2024 postmortem suggested they would carry. Their 2025 “No Rain, No Flowers” run demonstrated that the appetite for their brand of stripped-down blues-rock had not evaporated along with the arena ticket sales. The Peaches ‘N Kream World Tour, announced in February 2026, confirms the reboot is genuine. That tour brings them to Turning Stone Event Center in Verona on Saturday, October 10, with tickets already on sale.

About The Black Keys

The story behind Peaches — their album due May 1, 2026 — gives the band something worth carrying onto the stage. The record was written during a difficult stretch: Auerbach was attending to his father following a cancer diagnosis, and the resulting work has been described as primal, made less as a calculated commercial statement than as a vehicle for processing. The first single, “You Got To Lose,” arrived as a statement of intent, and the album’s emotional weight gives the live show a context that a routine touring cycle would not.

In a live setting, The Black Keys have always delivered more than a two-piece has any business delivering. Auerbach’s guitar tone — battered, compressed, recognizable within two bars — threads through catalog staples like “Gold on the Ceiling,” “Tighten Up,” and “Wild Child” with the ease of songs that have been lived in for a long time. The October date falls well into the Peaches album cycle, meaning the set will weigh new material against a back catalog deep enough to give the room exactly what it came for.

About Turning Stone Event Center

Turning Stone Event Center — the 5,000-capacity arena anchoring Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona — is Central New York’s most reliable stop for touring acts of this tier. The venue operates at a level above most rooms in the region: professional production infrastructure, workable sightlines throughout, and the logistical backing of a full resort property. It is not an intimate setting, and no one booking Turning Stone expects it to be. For an act the size of The Black Keys at this stage of a comeback run, it is exactly the right room — large enough to signal health, specific enough to feel like a real show.
