Emo Night Buffalo (Fall 2026 Edition) at Nietzsche’s | October 10, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · August 1, 2026

Off The Wall has been working the early-2000s pop-punk and emo catalog since 2016 — My Chemical Romance, Blink-182, Taking Back Sunday, Panic! at the Disco — and they hold one position on how they do it: they play it like an original band. Not a nostalgic costume act. A five-piece that practices, rehearses, and takes the stage having logged a decade and more than 150 songs into the repertoire. On Saturday, October 10, they perform at the Fall 2026 Edition of Emo Night Buffalo at Nietzsche’s on Allen Street.

About the Show

Emo Night Buffalo is a promoter-organized club night staged by Photo City Presents, the concert-promotion arm of Photo City Music Hall — a Rochester independent music venue that describes itself as “built by music fans, for music fans.” Photo City Presents has been running Emo Night Buffalo at Nietzsche’s since at least early 2025, cycling through spring, summer, fall, and themed iterations. That there are enough people in Buffalo to sustain that kind of recurring calendar — and that the series has kept selling tickets across editions — says something about how deeply the early-2000s era sank in for anyone who was a teenager the first time they heard it.

The through-line across editions is consistent: “a throwback party featuring music from the early 2000’s & beyond.” The Scene Edition earlier in 2026 added more texture: “a full night of scene nostalgia, emo anthems, pop-punk bangers, and songs that emotionally destroyed us in the best way possible.” Off The Wall — five lifelong Buffalo-area musicians who each came up playing in original bands before forming this project — brings a catalog spanning Weezer, Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, All-American Rejects, Bowling for Soup, Goldfinger, Sugarcult, and Blink-182, with grunge and indie rock in the margins. The band emphasizes covering songs not typically covered by other tribute bands. The Fall 2026 ticket page confirms Off The Wall performing live on stage. Past editions have also featured acoustic sets from Derek Gregoire of Creating A Sinner, though Off The Wall is the only performer confirmed for this date.
