Mihali presents: Mihalidaze w/ Stone Throwers at Middle Ages Beer Hall | December 3, 2026

By Kira Vasquez · October 17, 2026

Mihali’s Before The Dream is built around collaboration you don’t often hear on a solo record: G. Love, Brett Dennen, Andy Frasco, Tropidelic, Moon Taxi, all woven into 14 tracks that NYS Music described as “a journey of joy shaped by Mihali’s creative vision.” The album opens with “Wise Man,” where Mihali sings, “Give all your love for free / And what you’re given in return / Is more than you can earn.” When he tours as Mihalidaze, with a full live band behind him, that warmth lands differently than it does through a speaker. The Mihalidaze band is coming to Middle Ages Beer Hall in Syracuse on Thursday, December 3.

About the Show

Mihali is a Vermont-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist, and co-founder of rock outfit Twiddle, which returned in 2026 from a three-year hiatus for their Frendsgiving run. Three solo albums in, with Before The Dream (May 2, 2025, Ineffable Records) as the most recent, he has built a national touring presence that extends to Jam Cruise 2027, where he’ll play alongside George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Stephen Marley, and moe. The album was produced by Spencer Thomson of Moon Taxi, with collaborators including Little Stranger, Lily Fangz, Andy Frasco, and Satsang. When he describes his goal as delivering “healing vibes and unforgettable songs,” Before The Dream is the clearest case he’s made for it.

The Mihalidaze format — a full live band touring setup, not a solo acoustic show — has run in upstate New York before. A Mihalidaze date at Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs in December 2024 gives you a sense of what the format looks like.

Stone Throwers opens. Per the event listing, their sound runs on “soulful melodies, powerful brass, smooth keys, and percussive guitar… glued together in a pocket of tight drums and thick bass.” Doors are at 7:00 p.m., which is when to arrive.
