Jim Breuer at Kodak Center | November 20, 2026

By Meg Andersen · August 18, 2026

Jim Breuer spent three years on Saturday Night Live building a reputation for characters that walked the line between inspired and completely unhinged — Goat Boy, a dead-on Joe Pesci, whatever he turned into next. He has spent the years since turning that restless energy into one of standup’s most devoted followings; his artist site puts repeat attendees at roughly 78 percent. He brings the Find the Funny Tour to Kodak Center in Rochester on Friday, November 20.

About the Show

The Find the Funny Tour is a 45-city North American run that launched February 19, 2026, in Fort Pierce, Florida — Deadline described it as Breuer’s first major theater run in a number of years. The Rochester date falls near the end of the run, with Breuer’s site listing upcoming November dates across New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania. The show blends family stories, sharp observations, and spontaneous audience interaction. Breuer’s artist site notes he has been “F-word free for ten years,” with material now leaning toward family-focused storytelling; the show still carries an adult content advisory.

Breuer joined the SNL cast in 1995, during the era of Will Ferrell, David Spade, and Norm McDonald, and later appeared in the 1998 cult film Half Baked. Comedy Central put him on its “100 Greatest Standups of All Time” list; press coverage from his current tour describes him as a “freewheeling, New York bred comic storyteller” who is “hotter than ever.” He is a frequent guest on The Howard Stern Show and currently hosts The Jim Breuer Podcast.

His comedy specials include Hardcore (2002), Let’s Clear the Air (2009), And Laughter for All (2013), and Comic Frenzy (2015). The metal crossover on his résumé is genuine: Breuer opened for Metallica on the WorldWired Tour and performed alongside Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford. He also released the album Songs From the Garage (2016) with producer Rob Caggiano and AC/DC’s Brian Johnson.
