Lou Gramm’s relationship with Kodak Center carries a particular weight — this is a Rochester institution welcoming home one of its most celebrated musical sons. On Saturday, December 12, 2026, Gramm brings The Released Tour to the venue for the tour’s final confirmed stop, closing a run that began with Foreigner reunion shows in Florida and wound through venues nationwide before returning, appropriately, to where it was always going to end.

About Lou Gramm

As the original lead vocalist of Foreigner — the band he co-founded with guitarist Mick Jones in 1976 — Gramm helped define the commercial and emotional center of American hard rock. The catalog is shorthand for an era: “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Juke Box Hero,” and “I Want To Know What Love Is” — songs that have outlasted the decade that produced them. With more than 80 million records sold worldwide, Foreigner’s legacy is settled. What Gramm brings to stages in 2026 is the accumulated weight of that history.

The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction — all seven classic Foreigner members honored together, with Sammy Hagar presenting — arrived later than many felt it should. The 2013 Songwriters Hall of Fame recognition alongside Mick Jones came first. Taken together, the credentials confirm what the catalog already established.

The Released Tour

Released — out March 27, 2026 on Cherry Red Records — is billed as Gramm’s third and final solo album. The 10 tracks draw from vault recordings made during the 1980s, co-written with Bruce Turgon, his former Black Sheep bandmate. Gramm describes them plainly: “powerful, heartfelt songs with a great vintage sound taken right from my old multitrack tapes.” Lead single “Young Love” features Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard on guitar — a collaboration that fits the album’s unapologetically vintage aesthetic.

The Rochester date is the final confirmed stop on a tour that launched in May 2026. Closing it here, at home, is the right call.
