Rochester is the first stop on The Rush Tribute Project’s Northeast run, and Kodak Center is a good room to open it. The three-piece hits the 2,400-seat theater at 200 W Ridge Road on Sunday, November 8, 2026, showtime 7:30 PM — the first of six consecutive nights running through Albany, Huntington, Worcester, Concord, and Westbrook before the month turns.
About The Rush Tribute Project
The Rush Tribute Project has been at this since 2013. They’re a three-piece Rush tribute — and they don’t approach it casually. Sean Jones handles vocals, bass, and keys: classically trained, with more than two decades of Rush tribute work internationally, including appearances at RushCon and performances for U.S. armed forces in Kuwait. Bill Heck is a 37-year veteran guitarist who cites Alex Lifeson as a primary influence; he joined RTP over eight years ago and took the 2017 Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award for Best Guitarist. Thomas Slawnik has held the drum chair since the band’s founding, started playing at age four, and lists Neil Peart among his influences — which should tell you everything about his approach to the job.
The production is built to match the ambition: vintage instruments, multi-camera projections, and state-of-the-art lighting. They cover 40-plus years of Rush’s catalog and play performing-arts venues coast to coast — this 2026 tour alone ran through Texas in June, Colorado in September, and California in October before swinging northeast. The band is also a 2018 Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award winner for Best Tribute Band.

Kodak Center is a 2,400-seat theater on Rochester’s northwest side at 200 W Ridge Road. It’s a mid-size room — big enough to carry the full visual production RTP brings, but not so large that you lose the detail.
