Les Trois Accords have been filling Quebec rooms for thirty years, and on Saturday, March 13, 2027, the Drummondville quartet plays the biggest of their career: Place Bell, a 10,172-capacity arena in Laval they have never played before. Press at the time of the announcement was direct about what the booking signals — it now takes an arena to hold their crowd.
About the Show
The show is part of the Toujours les vacances tour, built around the band’s eighth album of the same name, released in October 2025. The Place Bell date was added after 2026 shows at MTELUS and Imperial Bell sold out — each sellout prompting the step up to a larger room. The title track features a duet with Béatrice Martin of Cœur de pirate, and tour promotional copy describes the experience as a set of “rhythmic stories, musical expeditions” leading to “unknown destinations and improbable encounters.”
At the MTELUS launch show in May 2026, the band played a 21-song set with a tent onstage that mirrored the album’s visual concept. Martin made a surprise appearance, stepping out from the tent to perform the collaborative track live. Coverage of that night described the Place Bell date as promising to be even more epic.
The quartet formed in Drummondville in 1997: Simon Proulx (vocals, guitar), Alexandre Parr (guitar, vocals), Charles Dubreuil (drums), and Pierre-Luc Boisvert (bass). The live band expands to six with Gabriel Gratton on keyboards and Mélissa Lavergne on percussion. Proulx is the sole founding member still in the lineup, and the band also founded the Festival de la Poutine in Drummondville in 2007. Quebec press has described them as the province’s most prominent humorous band, a reputation built since their 2003 debut. Their sound spans pop-punk wit, 60s AM radio, Seattle grunge, and British New Wave influences — a range that explains how the catalog has held across three decades without calcifying into one thing. In September 2005, they opened for the Rolling Stones in Moncton before an estimated 85,000 people. The Place Bell booking suggests they’ve been closing that gap ever since.

Place Bell sits at 1950 rue Claude-Gagné in Laval, Quebec, with capacity for just over 10,000. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show. Parking is available at the P-SUD Place Bell lot.
