Jim Breuer is the kind of comedian who opened for Metallica’s WorldWired tour and still came home to write jokes about family dinners. That combination — heavy metal aficionado, Long Island native, former Saturday Night Live cast member — is what the Find The Funny Tour is built around, and on Friday, December 4, he brings it to Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill.
About the Show
Breuer began performing in 1989 and built his national profile during three seasons on Saturday Night Live (1995–1998), creating Goat Boy and a Joe Pesci impression alongside Will Ferrell, David Spade, and Norm MacDonald. Comedy Central later named him one of its 100 Greatest Standups of All Time. His film credits include the cult classic Half Baked, along with Zookeeper, Beer League, and Titan A.E.
The Find The Funny Tour is a 45-city North American run that launched in February 2026, billed as “a high-energy blend of sharp observations, hilarious family stories, and spontaneous crowd interaction.” Breuer grew up in Valley Stream, Long Island, and describes his comedy as drawn from family life; he is a father of three daughters. His specials include Hardcore (2002), Let’s Clear The Air (2009, one of the highest-rated comedy specials in Comedy Central history), and And Laughter For All (2013, the highest-rated original comedy special on EPIX to date).
Beyond the standup, Breuer performed with Rob Halford of Judas Priest on Comedy Central and collaborated with AC/DC’s Brian Johnson on the track “Mr. Rock n’ Roll,” released on his 2016 album Songs From The Garage. His viral social media content has accumulated hundreds of millions of views. He hosts The Jim Breuer Podcast and appears regularly on The Joe Rogan Experience and The Howard Stern Show.
