Vic DiBitetto spent years driving a school bus and collecting garbage before he worked out the joke hiding in all of it. Once he did, he turned that working-class frustration into a career that has sold out rooms at the Borgata, Mohegan Sun, and Gotham Comedy Club. The self-billed “Italian Hurricane” brings that act to Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill on Halloween night — Saturday, October 31, after a postponement pushed this show back from its original date.
About the Show
DiBitetto launched his stand-up career in 1981 at Pips Comedy Club in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, drawing on a background that included garbage collection and school bus driving. That blue-collar foundation is the whole point: his material zeroes in on family, food, and the specific frustrations of everyday working life, delivered in a rapid-fire rant style the venue calls “a no-holds-barred comedy experience that’s as fearless as it is hysterical.” He’s been called “a cross between Rodney Dangerfield and Ralph Kramden,” someone who “says what you are thinking but are afraid to say out loud.”
His national breakthrough came in February 2013 when a YouTube video titled “Bread and Milk” (a rant about grocery runs ahead of an incoming nor’easter) racked up more than 17 million views and landed him segments on The View, CNN, and The Today Show. The video resurfaces online nearly every winter storm season. Over the years he has built out a roster of viral characters — Uncle Vic’s Garage, Tony Gaga, Frankie Pentangelli — and appeared as Gino Chizetti in the 2015 film Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. He currently has a recurring role in the Amazon Prime series Gravesend, and his sports commentary runs on Boomer and Gio (WFAN/CBS Sportsnet). His 2020 comedy album Working Class Zero streams on Pandora and SiriusXM. No support acts have been announced. This Peekskill stop is part of an active touring schedule running through March 2027, with upcoming dates in Albany and across the Northeast.

Paramount Hudson Valley is a theater at 1008 Brown St in Peekskill, in the Hudson Valley region, reachable from both New York City and the communities north along the river corridor. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. Venue policy: no outside food or drink, no backpacks or large bags; all guests go through bag checks and security screening on the way in.
