A Farewell 2 Kings – Rush Tribute at Daryl’s House | October 2, 2026

By Marc Delacroix · July 28, 2026

A Farewell 2 Kings has been quietly assembling one of the more deliberate tribute itineraries in the Northeast. Their 2026 fall run includes back-to-back anniversary-billed performances of 2112 and Moving Pictures in September — two of the more historically significant shows on any tribute calendar this year. The Daryl’s House stop on October 2 follows that stretch, bringing the four-piece New Jersey ensemble to Pawling for a deep-catalog Friday night.

About the Show

Established in 2023, AF2K was built around what the band describes as “authentic sonic and visual recreation of Rush’s live performances” — a standard that requires confronting one of the most technically demanding catalogs in progressive rock. Rush spent decades filling arenas on the strength of three players: Geddy Lee’s bass lines and vocal range, Alex Lifeson’s guitar work, and Neil Peart’s drum arrangements. The infrastructure of synthesizers, bass pedals, and rhythmic complexity left most live audiences wondering how any of it was possible with just three people. AF2K’s format engages that legacy directly, spanning “sprawling epics to the rarest deep cuts” and incorporating complete album performances and extended two-set shows.

The four-piece lineup: Zack James on vocals, Aaron Leone on guitar, Adam Cyran on bass and keyboards, and Johnny Vines on drums. The band operates as what it describes as a “grassroots, community-driven organization dedicated to preserving Rush’s musical legacy” — the shows are framed as interactive celebrations, not nostalgia loops, designed to bring Rush fans across generations into the same room.

The 2026 touring run has been unusually active for a band only three years old. A 50th anniversary performance of 2112 is scheduled for September 11 in Millersville, PA; two days later, a 45th anniversary set built around Moving Pictures in New Cumberland, PA. The Pawling stop on October 2 follows that run, part of a fall stretch that extends into November with dates in Ohio and North Carolina. By the time the band reaches Daryl’s House, they will have spent a serious portion of the year road-testing this material.

Venue & Logistics

Daryl’s House is a 300-capacity club in Pawling, along Route 22 in the Hudson Valley. For music written at the scale of Rush’s arena catalog, playing a room this size is a genuine inversion — one that either loses something or reveals something, depending on what you came for. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.; show is at 8:00 p.m. The event is all ages.
