Bingo Loco started in Dublin as an experiment in what bingo could be if you stripped out the silence, brought in live DJs, and ran rave rounds between cards. That experiment has expanded into a touring enterprise that has sold out 200 venues worldwide (Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Toronto, Sydney, Dubai), and on Friday, October 9, the company’s 2026 show, Bingo Loco Presents: Name That Song, lands at Electric City in Buffalo.
About the Show
The tour runs 62 dates across 36 cities in the U.S. and Canada, and the format is straightforward to describe but genuinely hard to pin down: comedian MCs host throughout, the music spans the 80s, 90s, and 00s, and the night moves through dance-offs, lip sync battles, rave rounds, conga lines, throwback anthems, confetti showers, and CO2 cannons. Music recognition is the connective tissue: the bingo card tracks the competition, but the spectacle around each round is the point. Prizes have ranged from vacation packages and kitchen appliances to lawn equipment and inflatable novelty items. The emphasis throughout is on crowd energy over quiet competition.
Bingo Loco describes the experience as having “the mentality of a theatre performance & the energy of a festival.” This is not a background-music night. The format plays especially well in groups: tables seat eight to 10, and the competitive elements land harder when you have a crew to cheer for against the rest of the room. Bingo Loco brought an earlier version of the show to Electric City in October 2024; Friday, October 9 is a return engagement.
Venue & Logistics
Electric City, at 433 Pearl St in downtown Buffalo, is a club on the western New York circuit that has hosted Bingo Loco before and has the floor plan for what they do. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., show at 6:00 p.m., and the run time is approximately 2.5 hours. Seating is first-come, first-served, with tables for groups of eight to 10; organizers at comparable tour stops recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before showtime for the best positions. One thing to sort out before you go: the Electric City event page lists this show as all ages, while the Prekindle listing carries a 21+ restriction — a quick check with the venue is worth it.
