Adrian Vandenberg – My Whitesnake Years Tour at Sharkey’s Event Center | March 7, 2027

By Marc Delacroix · October 19, 2026

Adrian Vandenberg played the guitar solo on “Here I Go Again” — the 1987 re-recording that turned Whitesnake into an arena-circuit constant on both sides of the Atlantic — and spent the better part of the following decade co-writing and recording with David Coverdale through the Restless Heart era. The My Whitesnake Years Tour is his structured accounting of those 12 years, and on Sunday, March 7 it arrives at Sharkey’s Event Center in Liverpool on a stage that puts three serious musicians well within arm’s reach of the crowd.

About the Show

The format is not a solo showcase with decorative support. Vandenberg shares equal billing with Marco Mendoza (a bassist and vocalist with 26 years in Thin Lizzy, seven with Whitesnake, seven with Ted Nugent, and recent work with The Dead Daisies and the SatchVai Band) and Vinnie Moore, a guitarist who put in 21 years with UFO and has also toured with Alice Cooper. The evening runs as two complete 75-minute-plus performances, or a single extended 90-minute presentation with an intermission.

Before Whitesnake, Vandenberg had already built a career worth noting: his self-titled band signed to Atlantic Records in 1981, charted “Burning Heart” at No. 39 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and toured in support of Ozzy Osbourne, Rush, and KISS. The Whitesnake chapter came after music executive John Kalodner recruited him in 1986, a decision that required Vandenberg to let his original bandmates go, and led to contributions that ranged from co-writing material for Slip of the Tongue and Restless Heart to appearances on Live at Donington and Starkers in Tokyo.

This show was originally on the books for Aug. 9, 2026. Vandenberg cancelled his entire summer USA run after a bacterial infection forced him off the road, offering this in his public statement: “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” Tickets from the original date will be honored on March 7; refunds remain available upon request within 14 business days.
