Niska at Place Bell | September 12, 2026

By Eli Thorne · July 19, 2026

Niska took Évry trap and his Congolese Rumba upbringing and built something neither tradition had quite produced before — a sound that shaped a generation of French rap. He plays Place Bell in Laval on Saturday, September 12, his only North American stop before headlining Stade de France in Paris next April.

About the Show

Born Stanislas Dinga-Pinto in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges and raised in Évry’s Champtier-du-Coq neighborhood south of Paris, Niska grew up steeped in the Congolese Rumba his father, a singer, played around the house before coming up in the rap group Negro Deep and signing solo with Universal Music France’s Barclay Records imprint. His initial video “Guévaraché” surfaced in June 2014, and by 2015 “Freestyle PSG” had accumulated over 100 million views. His debut release Charo Life reached number three on the French pop charts that year. “Charo” is his term for determined and resilient, and the concept runs through his catalog; the signature Charo dance became a cultural phenomenon on its own.

Zifukoro (2016) brought collaborations with Booba and Maître Gims. Commando (2017) topped the French charts on the back of the hit “Réseaux,” and Mr. Sal (2019) spent five weeks at number one in France. His most recent full-length is GOAT, a collaborative record with Ninho (released October 25, 2024) that sold 34,605 copies in its first week and debuted at the top of French streaming platforms. The two had previously teamed up on “Maman ne le sait pas” and “Méchant” before this, their first full-length together. The 15-track GOAT features one guest: Koba LaD on “911.” Lead single “Coco,” shot in Rio de Janeiro, racked up millions of views within 48 hours of release. Across his catalog, Niska has accumulated 79 gold, 44 platinum, and 25 diamond single certifications. No supporting acts are announced for the Laval date.

Venue & Logistics

Place Bell, which opened in 2017, is in Laval, Quebec, presented by COLOMBE EVENTS PRESENTS. The show is all ages. Niska’s previous Quebec appearances came in January 2023 (sold-out dates at L’Olympia in Montreal and Théâtre Capitole in Quebec City), making September 12 his first return to the province since. It is also his only Canadian date on a touring schedule that otherwise runs entirely through France, finishing with three nights at Stade de France in April 2027. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
