About Paul Oakenfold
There is a reason every conversation about the origins of global DJ culture eventually circles back to Oakenfold. He has been ranked #1 by DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs twice. Queen Elizabeth honored him in 2003 as a “Pioneer of the Nation” for his contributions to dance music. He was the first DJ to perform at Stonehenge, Area 51, the Great Wall of China, and the base camp of Mount Everest — not as stunts, but as genuine attempts to bring the music somewhere it had never been.
He co-founded Perfecto Records — operating across four sub-labels (Perfecto Records, Perfecto Fluoro, Perfecto Black, and Perfecto House) for over three decades — and his syndicated Perfecto Radio reaches 25 million weekly listeners internationally. If you need a recent touchstone, his singles “Bullet In The Gun” (April 2026, with Sneijder) and “RAMsterdam” (May 2026, with Daxson and RAM) are both worth a listen before Friday.
About The Crystal Method
Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan co-founded The Crystal Method in 1993. Their 1997 debut Vegas went platinum and put big beat on the map. The duo earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2009. After Jordan’s 2017 retirement, Kirkland has continued the project — most recently releasing the seventh studio album The Trip Out. Over 1,300 shows at EDC, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Miami. The Village Voice called them “one of the best live dance acts on Earth,” and that reputation holds.
