When Excision rotated his 2022 tour setlists, he leaned on unreleased material from RZRKT — pronounced RE-SUR-RECT — a Laredo, Texas producer named Bryan whose tracks MADNESS, DISRUPT, and ATOM circulated through bass music feeds and built a following before any of them had an official release. That path — from Excision’s tour setlist to Subsidia, Space Yacht, and Lost Lands — is what makes a 400-cap club date in Rochester more interesting than it sounds on paper. About the Show
RZRKT works in a specific corner of the bass music world: melodic but heavy, blending trap, psytrance, future bass, and dubstep into what he describes as “dark and inspiring melodies” over drops with a “distinct and creative sound.” His 2020 track “Heart” appeared on Excision’s Subsidia label as part of the Night compilation series and became a fan favorite for the way it merged future bass textures with dubstep weight. In 2021, he launched “The After Life” mix series and released “UNKNOWN” with LOUIEJAYXX on Space Yacht Records — curated by NAZAAR — earning placement on that label’s Best of 2021 playlist. He also releases through Monstercat, with Immortal and Dread among his catalog titles. Support from Wooli, ATliens, Marauda, DJ Diesel, and Illenium has helped carry his name across the festival and touring circuit.
The Rochester date arrives during a dense stretch of activity. Songkick documents more than 113 past events, with recent stops in Tacoma and Denver. He played Lost Lands 2026 in September — one of the main gatherings for bass music on the festival calendar — and is billed for Cyclops Cove 4 in Boca Raton in December. Photo City Music Hall is at 543 Atlantic Ave in Rochester, in the Finger Lakes region. The room holds 400 — a meaningful step down from the festival circuit RZRKT has been working this year, and for bass music, that scale difference shows up in the experience. The crowd is close, the sound stays dense, and every drop lands at full weight rather than dissipating across a field. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. This is an 18+ event.
