A New Orleans rock band in the middle of a full national tour. A three-time Grammy winner opening the night. All of it happening outdoors at a Schenectady brewery this October. This is the kind of show you want to have on your calendar before July 10 — because that is when tickets go on sale.
About The Revivalists
The Revivalists are touring behind Get It Honest, their new album dropping July 24 — and the Get It Honest Tour is a real campaign: Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Madison Square Garden, and a tight Northeast fall run that hits Allentown on the 7th, Schenectady on the 9th, and Atlantic City on the 10th. Frontman David Shaw has been open about where this record comes from. On the new single “Razorblades and Runways,” he describes looking back on years spent chasing thrills, a reckoning with ego, and landing somewhere better — driven now by family, friends, and, in his own words, a cat named Ricky Peach. These are a band that plays hard and means it, and a full-album tour is the right context to see them.
About Fantastic Negrito
Fantastic Negrito — born Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz — won the inaugural NPR Tiny Desk Contest in 2015 and has since taken home three Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Blues Album. He records on his own independent label, Storefront Records, and his most recent studio album, Son of a Broken Man (2024), goes deep into family, deception, and the ways people hide from themselves. His sets move from hard-hitting guitar riffs to expressive ballads — he is not a throwaway opener.
