The cast behind Winter Enchanted has performed at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. That is not a marketing flourish — it is the baseline for what this touring West End Christmas spectacular brings to the Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse on Saturday, December 12.
About the Show
Winter Enchanted is a full theatrical production built around music families already know. The set list draws from stage and screen titles that have become holiday fixtures: Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Greatest Showman, Wicked, The Polar Express, The Snowman, and The Little Mermaid, alongside holiday film favorites Home Alone, A Christmas Story, and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Classic Christmas songs round out the evening.
The production bills itself as “a breathtaking Christmas spectacular bursting with music, theatre, dance and wonder,” and the cast behind it supports that framing. West End vocalists, professional musical theatre performers, dancers, aerialists, and fire performers make up the lineup. Their careers have taken them from some of the world’s most prestigious stages to performances for royalty at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. The staging combines film, stage, and animation elements, with soaring vocals, exquisite ballet, and spellbinding choreography built into the same evening.
The show is designed for two audiences at once: children encountering Christmas magic live for the first time, and adults returning to what the production calls “the wonder of Christmases past.” The combination is deliberate. Familiar songs from stage and screen already carry meaning for both groups, and seeing them performed live with full theatrical staging gives that weight somewhere to land. Winter Enchanted is a national touring production. The same show plays Reading, PA four days later, on December 16.
Venue & Logistics
The central New York date lands at the Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater at 411 Montgomery St in downtown Syracuse, a performing arts theater suited to the scale of a production combining ballet, aerialists, and West End vocals in the same evening. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the show at 7:00 p.m. Give yourself the full hour before curtain. A production with multiple staging elements, live performers, and film and animation components generally rewards arriving early to get settled. For a family holiday production in December, the October 2 on-sale date is worth circling.
