Yacht Lobsters – Soft Rock of the 70s and Early 80s (Night One) at Daryl’s House | July 8, 2026
If you have never made the drive to Pawling for a show at Daryl’s House, here is your reason to start: Yacht Lobsters are bringing their Night One performance there on Wednesday, July 8, and this is exactly the kind of bill that makes a mid-week drive feel like a very good idea.
Daryl’s House — the intimate club in Pawling associated with Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates — is a venue that earns its reputation on the quality of its room. The restaurant-and-bar setup means reserved table seating is an option, which changes the whole equation for a night like this. Doors open at 5:00 PM, so build in time to settle in before the 7:00 PM showtime. This is a sit-down-and-actually-listen kind of room, and that is exactly right for what Yacht Lobsters do.
NYC’s premier yacht rock ensemble — and that title is not accidental — Yacht Lobsters were formed in 2022 around the buttery soft rock of the 1970s and early 1980s. Their influences read like a playlist you have heard a thousand times and somehow never gotten tired of: Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates, Toto. They deliver it with a full horn section, stellar vocals, and threads of NOLA funk and jazz improvisation woven through the grooves. They also perform original compositions written to sound period-authentic to 1978, which takes a level of craft that goes well beyond a typical cover act. They have played The Paramount in Huntington and Musikfest in Bethlehem — this is a serious touring band doing a specific thing exceptionally well.
Worth noting: this is Night One of what appears to be a multi-night run at Daryl’s House. If you are on the fence between nights, check whether Night Two surfaces — or just book this one and stop overthinking it. More Hudson Valley shows here.
Tickets & Pricing: General admission starts at $40.02. Reserved table seating — with options at 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30 PM — runs $55.47. All ages. Get your tickets here.
