Yacht Lobsters at Daryl’s House | July 9, 2026
If the words “Daryl’s House” mean anything to you, you already understand why this one is worth the drive to Pawling. The intimate Hudson Valley room that Daryl Hall built is the kind of venue where the soft rock canon sounds like it was made for the space — and Yacht Lobsters are about as perfectly matched a booking as that room has ever seen.
This is Night Two of a two-night residency. Night One was Wednesday, July 8 at 7 PM; Night Two goes Thursday, July 9 at 8 PM, with doors at 5. All ages.
About Yacht Lobsters
Founded in New York City in 2022 by the crew behind Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution, Yacht Lobsters have built a reputation as the Northeast’s go-to source for breezy, immaculately executed soft rock from the 70s and early 80s. They play Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates, and Toto — but the thing that separates them from a standard tribute act is everything happening underneath: a full live horn section, New Orleans funk driving the rhythm section, and jazz improvisation informing every solo. They also perform original compositions engineered to sound like they were recorded in 1978, which means the set goes deeper than a catalog run.
They opened for Ambrosia at a 2023 festival in Westerly, Rhode Island — the kind of credential that says you can hold your own on a stage with the people who invented this music. They have played Gramercy Theatre, Infinity Hall, and Brooklyn Bowl.
The Venue
Daryl’s House in Pawling is one of the Hudson Valley’s most storied live music rooms. Built by Daryl Hall himself, it carries an intimacy and a history that makes every show feel like something that matters. From the Capital Region, plan on about two hours south on the Taconic or via I-87 to I-84. Leave a little buffer — the area around Pawling rewards an early arrival.
