9MM Mouthwash built their 2026 in Rochester: a self-titled debut EP out in May through Slam Worldwide, a headline at Photo City Music Hall in August. Saturday, December 12 brings them back to the same room for a Christmas show — a five-band deathcore card with doors at 5:00 p.m. and four openers before they close the night.
About the Show
The Rochester four-piece — TC Anderson on guitar, Zack Day on bass, Dakota Carswell on vocals, and Jake Valladares on drums — released their self-titled EP on May 3 through Slam Worldwide, a label and promotional collective known for slamming and brutal death metal. Four tracks, just under eight minutes: an intro, “One Foot In The Grave One Foot On A Banana Peel,” “Hitmarker,” and “Taste The Steel.” The single “Hitmarker” arrived on April 24 — a week before the EP — the band’s first Slam Worldwide release. Brian Crosby handled mixing and mastering; Tristan Marler directed the video; Caylee Denny created the artwork. Both are on Spotify and Apple Music, and the band is active on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok as @9mm.mouthwash.
For a band in its first year of releases, closing 2026 with a five-band bill at the room where they headlined in August is a clean arc. The Christmas show stacks the card: Perspectives, An Easy Death, Dying Flesh, and Bus Stop Abortion open before 9MM Mouthwash takes the stage. With four acts and doors at 5:00 p.m., the evening runs long.
Venue & Logistics
Photo City Music Hall is at 543 Atlantic Ave in Rochester — a room for heavy and underground music in the Finger Lakes area. The drive from Syracuse runs about 90 minutes; from Buffalo, closer to an hour. 9MM Mouthwash played the same venue on August 16, 2026, with a different supporting lineup (Grave Sight, Scvrecrvw, and Karnage). This December date marks their second headline at the room in one calendar year. The show is 16 and up.
