Brit Floyd at West Herr Auditorium Theatre | February 27, 2027

By Marc Delacroix · October 6, 2026

For fifteen years, Brit Floyd has been building elaborate Pink Floyd tribute productions at venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Radio City Music Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall — but Animals, the 1977 concept album that original drummer Nick Mason has described as made “at the same time that punk was kicking off,” has mostly waited for its moment. The Animals 50 World Tour corrects that. West Herr Auditorium Theatre gets the first New York State stop on Saturday, February 27.

About the Show

The production celebrates the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s Animals, a five-track record running roughly 41 minutes that Brit Floyd describes as “one of Pink Floyd’s most powerful, provocative and enduring albums.” The nearly three-hour concert will feature highlights from the anniversary album alongside Pink Floyd catalog staples: “Time,” “Money,” “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Comfortably Numb,” and “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2,” all delivered through what the band describes as its biggest production to date — lighting, lasers, video projections, inflatables, and theatrical staging.

The band comes into this run with more than 1,600 concerts in their history and fresh off a 123-date 2026 tour celebrating their 15th anniversary. That production alone represents a year’s work that would exhaust most touring groups; Brit Floyd arrives at Animals 50 thoroughly road-tested. Over the years, the Liverpool-formed group has developed real connections to the original Pink Floyd universe: keyboardist Harry Waters and former Pink Floyd musicians Guy Pratt (bass) and Scott Page (saxophone) have each performed with the group. Rolling Stone has called them the world’s premier Pink Floyd experience, and the résumé supports it.

The first North American leg runs February 23 through April 17. New York State gets six shows: Rochester on February 27, Schenectady on March 7, two nights in Huntington on March 9 and 10, Syracuse on March 16, and Buffalo on April 14. A second leg returns to North America in November, including Red Rocks.
